Fm Si 41 is among one of the rarest sirens which can be found in Czechia. It is a high-tone variant of Fm Si 40 mechanical siren, manufactured by Siemens. The siren was manufactured sometime during the WWII and the production continued sortly post-war, being imported to few locations in the country. It was a product of, at the time, Siemens-Schuckert.
Just like the MEZ sirens, the siren is recognizable by Its swift wind-up, when connected to three-phase power. The siren can run on 220V and 380V, similarly like the DS977, but has a higher rated current and rated power, due to which the device has a huge power consumption. The siren has 8 ports. The cover of the Fm Si 41 is usually multi-layer (two layers).
The amount of Fm Si 41 sirens in Czechia is unknown, but findings suggest that there are numerous counts of them still in operation.
