Tesla UEAJ-II series (sometimes also mentioned as UEAJ-2) are the second-generation siren series from the company TESLA Blatná a.s. (not to be confused with Tesla Motors Inc.) Althought, these series had impoved hardware and software equipment, they didn't come off as popular as the first-generation series, mainly because the end products did not fill the expectations of the standards, compared to other models from different manufacturers.
Tesla UEAJ-II sirens use aluminium horns, and come in 600W or custom power series variations. TESLA made many changes to the second generation. Mentionable ones are major changes to the control unit (deployment of better amplifiers, improved, user-friendly interactions etc.), and as mentioned before, the deployment of, namely, aluminium horns.
During the development, TESLA has experimented with many different horn options, making final decisions between standart horns horns or vertically narrower acoustic speakers. The company tested many types of sound drivers, including ones from 100 V PA systems and radio units and wireless activation press-stations.
Tesla UEAJ-II units are not as common as the first generation on the field. Rarely, some UEAJ-II units were installed with UEAJ-I acoustic heads during occassions when local authorities decided to replace only control units, or use older acoustic heads. Numerous examples of this can be seen in Blansko.
